Everyone: A final reminder!

Your Invitation to “Dining for Health”

The East Shore Community Health Society in collaboration with the Selkirk College School of Health and Human Services will be offering a “Dining for Health” workshop at:

The Boswell Memorial Hall on Thursday March 19, 12:30-3pm.

And on the same day at Bob’s Bar and Grill in Riondel, 5:30-8pm.

The workshop, led by two 3rd Year Nursing students, will provide health-related information about preventing and living with Type II Diabetes, with a focus on healthy eating and meal preparation.   We will be providing a lunch that we promise will be both delicious and nutritious, and that will demonstrate some of the principles that will be covered during the workshop.  We anticipate that one or more health professionals from Creston will attend the Boswell workshop and we look forward to further developing these important community partnerships.

There is still lots of room for you to attend!

This workshop is “by donation.”

We look forward to your enthusiastic participation!

Just send Margaret or Kathy Donnison a quick email or phone message – it is not too late!
