| The Fields Forward (FF) team and Creston Valley-Kootenay Lake Economic Action Partnership (CV-KL EAP) invite you to celebrate local agriculture! This event is a great opportunity for attendees to: • Learn about the various Fields Forward initiatives, from Yahk to Riondel and beyond (ie: Kootenay Mobile Press, Kootenay Farms, Central Kootenay Food Policy Council…); • Provide input around vision, barriers, and opportunities within the local agriculture and horticulture sector (i.e. finding labour, staff training, technology, workshops, health and dental, and bookkeeping resources); • Updates around the Fields Forward Society as a centralized support for agriculture in the Creston Valley and opportunity to give input; • Network and collaborate with other agriculture and horticulture individuals; • Get involved to help influence current and future initiatives in the region.
