Pete’s credits include Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival, Halifax Comedy Festival and 3 comedy tours of Afghanistan to entertain our troops.
He writes for CBC’s Debaters and the Ron James show.

“…a good blend of smart and high-energy” – The Ampersand

“Pete will bring down the house.” – The Toronto Sun

Pete will definitely have the valley howling with laughter.

Matt BillonMatt Billon: Matt has been Making a name for himself in the Canadian Comedy Circuit. Whether it’s taking aim – with a pellet gun, no less – at insensitive siblings or bemoaning the fact he can never meet a girl who remembers her own phone number, Billon draws humor from his own life, no matter how embarrassing or incriminating.

Matt Billon’s solid reputation for his witty, creative and unassumingly clever material has landed him feature appearances and specials on CBC’s “Madly Off in all Directions”, “The Debaters” and he’s written for “This hour has 22 minutes”.

He has performed at the Highly-regarded Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, been on Much Music’s “Video on Trial”, XM Satellite Radio’s “Laugh Attack”, and he even has his own one hour, jam packed special on “The Comedy Network”
Originally from Nelson BC we are happy to have Matt at the KGB as the local boy that has gone on to do some amazing things with his career.

Scott DumasScott Dumas: We are excited too announce the return of Scott Dumas. Back in 2005 when Kootenay Gut Buster was just an idea Scott said “That sounds like fun!” and was part of our first ever KGB show. It took 7 years but we finally got his vacation schedule to work with yours.
You may recognize him as host of TV’s M-Style, seen him at your local comedy club. He is the only comic I know that once had to follow a bear on stage at a comedy show in Sydney Australia. Yup, he is our type of comic.
His hilarious stories and songs will keep you in stitches.
Welcome back Scott Dumas

Andrew AlbertAndrew Albert: Andrew got his comedy career started in 1997 as a dare in Windsor Ontario.  Since then he has entertained audiences from Florida to B.C. with his tell it like it is style.  Andrew is also an accomplished sketch writer/performer as well as an actor both on stage and on the silver screen.  Andrew has performed twice at the Just for Laughs festival, and has also appeared at the Boston Comedy festival.  His material has been heard on many morning shows, XM radio as well as on the CBC.

Cory HardingCory Harding: Goofy, irreverent, clever, all are apt descriptions for Cory Harding’s comedy. Sadly, most of the world doesn’t realize that those are good things so let’s just say he’s been called, “Very funny and very original!” by an SNL cast member and writer, he’s been told he has, “One of he most brilliant closing bits I’ve ever seen!” by a 6 time Tonight Show comedian, and the Spokane Review said, “Sick and wrong, but totally awesome!”
Cory also holds the record for Most Uninformative Comedic Bio Ever!

Noor KidwaiNoor Kidwai: Noor is a Muslim boy born in Calgary and raised in the small farming town of High River. Much of his comedy is based on being one of the only brown kids growing up in High River.  Noor has a unique view of the world and a background in Improv which makes him very spontaneous on stage. He does stand-up all over Canada, and just finished taping his first TV appearance with CBC for the “The New West”.

Ben ProulxBen Proulx: Ben has entertained audiences across North America, from his home in Edmonton, Alberta all the way to Las Vegas. In 2011, Ben performed at the international World Series of Comedy, and he was named Edmonton’s Best Comedian of 2012 by Vue Weekly. He also recently performed for the Canadian troops. Ben has been described as “a fresh and honest take” and as “one of the fastest rising stars in Canadian comedy.”

Daryl MakkComedy clips of Daryl Makk
Daryl Makk: Daryl is  re-educating the sheeple of the world…one joke at a time ! Think of the outlet for those little voices in your head. He has toured across Canada, Australia and the UK.

His shows are hysterical exercises of trying to understand society, its attempts at making the world a gentler, more tolerable place and all that has gone wrong with this effort. Truth and reality are sweet when served up with his brand of humor. Audiences love as he barbecues up social sacred cows and serves them up as a plate full of laughs!! His one hour “Comedy Now” special was selected to kick off season 8 of the award winning show.

He has performed in Canada, USA, UK, Australia and most recently, Costa Rica doing his shows. Daryl is also the president of  The Planet Tour Inc., a company that has set up many successful comedy shows.

James MooreJames Moore: Creator of Comedy Monday Night

James may have had a late foray into the world of Stand-up comedy, but weird life experience translates into funny. The kind of funny you can only get with a lot of weird life experience.

An often requested emcee and opener, James brings a relaxed, easy going style to the stage. He also works tirelessly each week running Comedy Monday Night, western Canada’s longest running comedy open mic stage

“Moore, effectively combines laid-back delivery with biting material”.- Fast Forward Magazine

In 2006 James was selected as one of Canada’s top new and emerging comedians, by CBC Radio’s “So, You Think You’re Funny?”

Julia KinderJulia Kinder: Meet KGB Comedy Contest Winner and East Shore resident, Julia Kinder! Up and coming comic Julia Kinder beat out all other contestants at the KGB Comedy Contest, held at Newkeys Bar in Crawford Bay, on July 12, 2013.
