The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is rescinding the WATER QUALITY ADVISORY on the Riondel water system.
On September 11th, the RDCK reissued this advisory due to a sample result indicating the presence of small levels of total coliforms. Subsequently, there were some moderate turbidity readings within the water system.
Sample results over the last several weeks show that the current water quality is GOOD and within the Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines.
The RDCK would like to thank residents for their cooperation and patience while this Water Quality Advisory was in place. If you have any questions, please contact the RDCK at 250-352-6665 or check out our website at www.rdck.bc.ca.
