The Ambulance Will Come!

Clarification regarding the situation of the ambulance in Area A.

The ambulance will come!  Sometimes it can take a while and this is normal in rural areas.  Our Riondel ambulance staff led by Cindy Bonnell do an excellent job. Either the Creston or the Riondel ambulance will respond to 911 calls.  The real issue is that it is difficult to keep staff, once trained, due to low wages while on-call.

Do consider taking a first aid course or becoming a First Responder.  The more people we have trained to know what to do in the case of an emergency, the better we are as a community.

If you would like to take advantage of training subsidies now being offered for Emergency First Aid and First Responders, please call Laverne Booth at 250-227-9218 ext 5518 or cell 250-777-1341 or email eslearningplace@gmail.com.
