David Zaiss’ Book Release/Signing Party

The Ping Pong Club – a new book by David Zaiss, will be available for purchase and the author available for Q&A and a little visit tomorrow night at Junction Creek Hub in Crawford Bay at 8:30 pm.The book centers on the realities of wrongful discharge and is a counter to the corporate mentality taking over both private and public institutions across the United States. Set amidst the quiet and beauty of the north woods, this first novel creatively weaves life in a small town with the Occupy Wall Street movement and Zaiss’ love for the game.
Heralded as “A powerful story, imaginatively written by someone who has been on the firing ling – in every sense of the word,” (K. Herbold) and “An impassioned story told with immaculate detail and a courageous heart. The Ping Pong Club is a heartening read for anyone who has experienced injustice at the hands of the corporate elite.” (M. Hoosen).
David lived on the East Shore of Kootenay Lake for nearly twenty-five years between 1973 and 1997, and was a dedicated and valued member of our community. Let’s celebrate his latest accomplishment together…
