Buying Groceries for a Good Cause

– BEFORE YOU GO TO NELSON FOR GROCERIES –

PLEASE CHECK THIS OPPORTUNITY OUT!

 

The Crawford Bay School Parent’s Advisory Council (PAC) is doing a Grocery Gift Card (GGC) fundraiser for the general account in order to allow us to continue supplying bursaries, providing funds for educational extras and supporting student work.

The GGC fundraiser will comprise of Kootenay Coop and Save-On-Foods gift cards, pre-purchased by the public, organized and supplied by PAC once sales are final. A percentage of the sales (8% for Save-On and 9% for the Coop) go to the fundraising body.

This is a win-win fundraiser – pre-sales of cards ensures that no financial burden is on the fundraising body. It also is something that everyone needs (we all buy groceries) and the percentage will go to a good cause without costing the purchasers anything extra.

Please consider purchasing gift cards for either/both of these Nelson grocery stores. Kootenay Coop offers $50/$100 and $300 denominations and Save-On offers $10, $25, $50 and $100 denominations. Consider the ease of shopping with a pre-paid card or gifting a family member/friend with the most useful gift or stocking stuffer. Fill your fridge, support the PAC/school!
