Paul Hindson of Crawford Bay (Kokanee Chalets) sent in the photo (below) showing the footbridge in the Crawford Creek Regional Park Wetlands in its current state. The boardwalk has begun to collapse and deteriorate and there is not foot traffic possible over the boardwalk until it is repaired. Please use caution when walking in that area. An alternate route is necessary for the time being.

Walked there yesterday and it seemed fine- no sign of collapse!
Some repairs were done yesterday Sept 17 and it appears to be open once again.
Now if people would only pick up after their dogs crap in the middle of the trail and leash them during bird nesting season, we might be able to enjoy the trail. But they won’t. Dog owners here have a sense of entitlement and think they are special. Kind of like the anti vaxxers.
Paul should start being more concerned with his own shady ways rather than posting pics clean your own up Paul
