Property owners who may harvest trees should not be interfered with, harassed,or intimidated.
All one has to do is look at the appalling destruction on Riondel road to realize that private property owners who log their own land need to be subject to the same rules and regulations as commercial companies. Replanting, slash management, and fire remediation should be mandatory. For an individual to be able to buy land at a pittance, log it, and then attempt to sell whatβs left st three times what they paid is unconscionable.
Very well said, Dave.π
